Hello! I’m Lindsey…
Founder of Orderly Home Organizing

Establishing this company has been a lifelong dream of mine. My passion for organizing started young and dates back to elementary school. I was parents’ favorite friend to have around. I'd go over for a playdate and would quickly become distracted and intrigued by their clutter and I was eager to create peace in their space. I truly thought I was “playing” as I buzzed around like a hummingbird, giving new life and new order to their bedrooms and playrooms. This is when I first experienced the strong sense of satisfaction that comes with helping people in their homes.

Back then and still today, I've found it rewarding deep within my soul when I am presented with someone’s chaos and I am able to create peace, balance, and function for their space. The look of relief on their face and the gratitude that pours from their heart is what motivates me the most. Ask any client past or present, and they will confirm that "home organization" is SO MUCH MORE than just "home organization”. It’s an improved quality of life that promotes mental clarity and reduces stress. It is naturally life-giving and can help create a positive ripple effect in one's life.  Organizing is a tangible way I can truly help people and I’ve always known that this passion was worth pursuing. After completing my Business Management degree, I patiently waited for many years while I raised my babies at home until the time was right. A few years ago, I finally took the entrepreneurial leap and turned this dream of mine into a reality. Orderly Home Organizing is my dream come true.

Some more backstory...

Personally, I have been humbled many times over by my own chaos and disorder. My husband and I have moved 14 times, lived in 6 states, endured 4 deployments, all while raising 5 children and caring for multiple pets. Our family lives life in the fast lane and our only constant is chaos. While it would be nice to survive all that on optimism, humor, & adaptability alone...I've truly needed organization in my own life to not only survive but also to thrive.  Creating an orderly home is one way I’ve been able to take on the challenging rhythms of life and the everyday burden of belongings. Friends often joke that I am "addicted" to chaos and that might be true. Yes, my life may be too much for most, but I pride myself on my ability to organize the mayhem and thrive in spite of the challenges.

Through it all, I've acquired real world wisdom, learned practical ways to manage the collections of life, implemented functional systems for family members of all ages, mastered the moving process, and worked diligently and creatively to make even the most challenging spaces function well. I want to help others do the same.
